Long Rides

All long rides include the horses with equipment, the guided tour, all meals and non-alcoholic drinks. Our calm and easy to handle horses are equipped with comfortable western saddles

 

Minitrail

8 days / 7 overnight stays. 5 on the farm, 2 on other locations.

The ride runs from Saturday till Saturday.

 

Itinerary:

Saturday: arrival on our farm in Årås in time for dinner with fellow riders. Introduction of the next days schedule.

Sunday-Friday: we ride through the virgin forest along rushing rivers and calm lakes. The riding country is fairy hilly, with plenty of wild animals, making every day in the saddle interesting and different.

Saturday: departure after farewell breakfast.

Price: 11900 Kr/Person
Remarks: Riders should be fit for an average of 3-6 hrs a day in the saddle. Suitable for experienced riders.

Bear trail

3 days / 2 overnight stays

The ride runs from Saturday till Monday and on request.

 

Itinerary:

Saturday: arrival on the farm about 2 pm. Allocation of horses. First ride in the surroundings.

Sunday: ride to the wilderness cottage (no electricity, no flowing water) close to a lake in the middle of the wilderness.

Monday: ride back to the farm. Departure.

Price: 4 800 Kr/Person
Remarks: riders should be fit for an average of 2-4 hrs a day in the saddle. Suitable for experienced riders.

The ride runs from Saturday till Sunday and on request.

 

Itinerary:

Saturday: arrival on the farm about 2 pm. Allocation of horses. Ride to the wilderness cottage.

Sunday: Ride back to the farm. Departure.
